Rain extends Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series visit to Senoia Raceway
Heading back to Senoia (Ga.) Raceway after the tour's original date was rained out, Trey Mills joined the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series on Saturday afternoon for the $15,000-to-win Independence Shootout.
With a strong 42-car field on hand, Mills qualified ninth-quickest and charged from fifth-to-second in his heat race before a heavy storm pushed the remainder of the event to Sunday afternoon. Starting sixth in the 50-lap main event, Trey faded back to 17th.
Mills currently sits seventh in the HTSDS point standings.
