Mills 10th in Red Farmer Tribute at Talladega with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
For the series' penultimate weekend, Trey Mills followed the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday evening for the Jerry Goodwin Challenge.
With 42 Late Models signed in for the first night of the doubleheader, Trey finished one spot out of a transfer in his heat race before dominating his B-Main. Rolling off 18th in the 38-lap feature, Mills recorded a 15th-place finish.
For Saturday's $9,700-to-win finale, Trey earned a 15th-place starting position after nabbing the final transfer spot in his heat race. Moving forward five spots in the 40-lap feature, Mills landed inside the Top-10 in 10th.
Mills currently leads the Rooke of the Year standings and sits fifth in the overall points.
Trey will close out the series at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway this coming weekend.
