Mills struggles in Cotton Pickin' 100 at Magnolia Motor Speedway
Returning to the track after a few weekends off, Trey Mills invaded Magnolia Motor Speedway (Columbus, Miss.) for the first night of the Cotton Pickin' 100 with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series.
With 46 Late Models checked in, Mills slapped the wall in qualifying before making up three spots in his heat race. Discovering more damage before his B-Main, Trey was a scratch for the remainder of the evening.
Hoping for a better outing on Saturday, Trey stopped the clock 10th-quickest in qualifying and finished sixth in his heat race. Needing a Top-3 finish in his B-Main to transfer to the $12,000-to-win main event, Mills recorded a fourth-place finish.
