Mills caught up in incident at East Alabama with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series
Continuing his Rookie of the Year chase with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series, Trey Mills made the trek to East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon.
Among 27 Late Models at the track, Trey nabbed an the final A-Main transfer spot in his heat race which placed him on the seventh row for the 50-lap feature. Chasing a $10,000 payday, Mills was running 17th when Mills made contact with a spinning car. He was forced to retire from the event and was scored 22nd.
Mills currently sits fourth in series points.
