Mills fourth in Governor's Cup at Talladega with Valvoline Iron-Man Series
Making a lone start over the weekend, Trey Mills made the trek to Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Saturday afternoon for the Governor's Cup with the Valvoline Iron-Man Southern Series.
Following the second-fastest lap in his qualifying group, Mills cruised to a heat race victory which earned him a second-row starting spot in the main event. Running as high as second in the $10,000-to-win feature, Trey wound up inside the Top-5 in fourth. He trailed race-winner Sam Seawright, Joseph Joiner, and Austin Horton while Dalton Cook completed the Top-5.
