Mills competes in Rebel Yell with Southern Nationals at Screven
With their hauler issues behind them, Trey Mills and his team trekked to Screven Motor Speedway (Sylvania, Ga.) on Saturday afternoon for the Schaeffer's Oil Southern Nationals Series-sanctioned Rebel Yell.
Following the 14th-fastest lap in qualifying among 27 Late Models, Mills nabbed the final A-Main transfer spot in his heat to earn a seventh-row starting position. For the $10,053-to-win main event, Trey got caught up in an incident, but recovered to finish 13th.
Sunday's Southern Nationals event at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Ga.) was postponed due to heavy rain showers.
