Top-10 finish in the Showdown on the Coast at Golden Isles

With a stout field of 48 Late Models entered for the Showdown on the Coast, Mills secured his spot into Saturday’s $10,000-to-win A-Main with a second-place finish in his heat race.

Starting in sixth, Trey dropped one spot in the 50-lap affair to register a seventh-place finish.

Also competing his 602 Crate Late Model on Saturday, Mills charged from the 13th-starting position in the feature to place third. He trailed Scott Waters and Jason Garver to the checkers in the 20-lapper.
