Mills pilots Lee Faulk Racing No. 1 at Hickory

Trey Mills visited Hickory Motor Speedway (Newton, N.C.) on Saturday afternoon to pilot the Lee Faulk Racing No. 1 Asphalt Late Model for the dual features.

With qualifying times setting the grid for both features, Mills laid down the 13th-fastest lap time. Starting on seventh row for the first feature, Mills lost ground early but battled back late in the 40-lapper to finish 13th. He crossed the line in 11th in the second 40-lap A-Main.

Sunday’s Schaeffer’s Southern Nationals event at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Ga.) fell victim to Mother Nature.
