Pair of fourth-place finishes at Waycross Motor Speedway

Taking part in a doubleheader weekend with the Southern Clash Late Models, Trey Mills visited Waycross Motor Speedway (Waycross, Ga.) on Friday afternoon for the $2,500-to-win opener. (Heath Lawson photo)

Following the ninth-fastest qualifying effort, Mills maneuvered through the field five spots in the feature to place fourth. He trailed Kyle Van Sickle, Jim Rogers, and Scott Johnson to the checkers with Austin Yarbrough coming in fifth.

On Saturday, Trey secured his spot into the finale with the ninth-fastest lap in qualifying. With $3,000 on the line, Mills passed five cars in the 30-lapper to register his second consecutive fourth-place finish.
