Mills bags fifth-place finish in 604 at VSP

Pulling double duty in the 604 and 602 Late Model ranks, Trey Mills was back in action on Saturday afternoon at Volusia Speedway Park (Barberville, Fla.) aboard his Mills Concrete No. 14JR entries. Following an eighth-place finish in his 604 heat race, Mills charged from the eighth row in the feature to register a fifth-place finish. He trailed Trynt Lloyd, Jason Fitzgerald, Donnie Chappell, and Dustin Carter to the checkers.

After placing third in his 602 heat race, Trey took command of the lead early in the feature but was forced to pull in near the halfway mark with an overheated motor.
